Sketchbook Project 2012: Pages 2 & 3

The rules for the Sketchbook Project dictate that I can “rebind” my book using whatever paper I desire.  I have decided to go with a light toothy bristol that doesn’t bleed easily.

Here are pages 2 and 3.  I will draw 20 pages on full size bristol and then cut them down to size, fold them, and rebind them using the original Sketchbook Project cover.  I will also insert various types of paper for neat effects.  I will share when it is done.

Beautiful! I’ve never thought of insects so sensuously before. This is going to be one heck of a book!

Mr Pingk! How are you? Thank you for your visits. Argh! I signed u for this project and have not even opened my packet. Ugh. I need to get going. Oh my, so what happened here? I have been monitoring your blog and you were quiet for a while and then BAM!!! An overload of images. They are wondrous, like being dumped barrels of candy and I have to be careful because I may get a cavity!!! I love the superheroes subjects But I am sorry, your bugs and insects are so real, I shudder. I do not find them sensuous, like Bella but, rather creepy and in my way that is a compliment because bugs are supposed to be creepy! Yeah!!!

I stand by my original opinion that they are sensuous. I wouldn’t mind having your bugs on my face. Ok, maybe not that humongous fly….

Thank you for your comment. You are much too kind. :)

  4. Ah good old bugs in your face. Nothing beats it especially when staring at someone else. It’s like they’re not even there. At least they aren’t mosquitoes.

Very cool project you got yourself into can’t wait to see all the pages. Happy Arting!
