My theme was “The Grey Side of Life” but I have abandoned it. Now my theme is probably Bugs and Beauties? I don’t know. I am charmed with the idea that a woman can be so graceful with fearful, creepy things. Or that a beautiful person can be covered in something unsettling.
Utterly luminescent and so strangely unperturbed by these stinging creatures! Odd gorgeousness!

Rubin, your descriptions are as poetic as your illustrations. That’s a terrific combination of colors. Quite electrifying. Is anyone else besides me feeling itchy?

Sorry I have been away for so long… but it’s good to take a pause and see all the amazing things people create while we are gone (right? you know what I mean?! hehe) so here I am and wow… your work is brilliant. I don’t know how you do it, but you improve with time (like a good red wine, I guess!! hehe) Really dig this one.. the light on the ants… haaa… like!!! and the texture too… very very sweet!
