The Ballad of Kvothe and Denna

In the Kingkiller Chronicles, a series by Patrick Rothfuss, “Namers” can use their voice to speak the names of things and possess power and direction over them.  Talk about being “vocal“. (wink wink to I.F. folks)

I’m a fan of the Kingkiller Chronicles.  I’ve recruited my wife, brother-in-law, and a few friends to read the books also.

I met Rothfuss’ (and his epic beard) briefly at last year’s Comic Con in San Diego.   I forgot to have him sign my Kindle.

I also drew this (more childish) illustration of Kvothe and Denna awhile ago.

    How could I miss this? I have no clue!!… But here I am… and really… Loving this, Rubin!! You have so much talent… makes me want to become an artist agent and represent you!! hehehe :)

      Is there a market for selfish stubborn artists who won’t bend to clients whims and insist his way is the right way? I wouldn’t last long. My own artistic impulses are too bullish.

      Yeah. FB is dumb. I’m just working some ink N brushes, get stuff done quietly offline until another torrential season of art uploads fancies a fit.
