Today is Autumn.
Like a sunset full of color, heralding an ending with a fleeting palette of warm hues.
Colors reserved for a changing of the guard as warmth wilts and winter sends its shivering scouts to forewarn the land of frost; a time for burying the fallen dead in white.
But first a shout of color!
Before we are cast off into a billowy free fall toward the dust from which we’ve risen.
